By using MWEBscan (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
MWEBscan provides informational analysis of public Litecoin blockchain data relating to the MimbleWimble Extension Block (MWEB). All links, attributions, scores and "follow the money" results are heuristic inferences, not proof, and may be incomplete or wrong. The Service is provided for research, transparency, compliance and personal-privacy education. It is not financial, legal, investment or investigative advice.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service or its data to:
- break any law, or to launder funds, evade sanctions, or facilitate any crime;
- harass, dox, threaten, defame or endanger any person or entity;
- make adverse decisions about a person based solely on heuristic output without independent verification;
- circumvent rate limits, scrape at scale, or disrupt the Service.
Privacy guidance on the Service is provided to help users understand and protect their own financial privacy lawfully. It must not be used to evade lawful investigation.
4. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MWEBscan and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or its data.
6. Attribution accuracy & corrections
Entity labels and attributions are derived from third-party sources and heuristics and may be inaccurate. If you believe an attribution or link about you or your entity is wrong, contact us (see below) and we will review and, where appropriate, correct or remove it.
7. API
The API is rate-limited and may change or be withdrawn at any time. Paid tiers, where offered, are governed by their own additional terms. Do not exceed published limits or attempt to bypass authentication.
8. Third-party data
Some data (e.g. address labels) originates from third parties under their own licenses. Your use of such data is subject to those licenses.
